In 2017, HexArmor was one of Grand Valley State University’s first employers selected for a SCIA grant, and they were awarded it again in 2018.
During a visit this year, GVSU met with Emily and her supervisor, Laurel Ackerman, along with other team members. They all shared stories of how they were impressed with Emily, her skill set, her team mentality and strong work ethic. In fact, they were so impressed they offered her a full time role after the completion of her internship.
She is now working as a Sales Development Representative with plans to move into a team leader role within the year. Congratulations to Laurel and the team at HexArmor!
